Our Story
The Imperial Tandoor opened its doors in August 2017 with a simple mission: to bring fine, authentic Indian cuisine — and the warmth of true Indian hospitality — to our Peterborough community. We are a local, family-run restaurant, and our food is our pride.
Every dish is prepared fresh with the finest ingredients, marinated in-house and cooked in our traditional clay tandoor. From succulent kebabs and naan baked to order to rich, slow-simmered curries and Indo-Chinese Hakka favourites, our menu honours time-tested recipes with a modern touch.
Our food is made for sharing and for lingering over — a family dinner, a celebration, or a quiet evening out.
