What are your hours?
We are open seven days a week: Sunday–Wednesday 11 AM–10 PM and Thursday–Saturday 11 AM–11 PM. Happy Hour runs daily from 3–5 PM and 9 PM to close.
Where are you located?
You will find us at 554 Lansdowne Street W, Peterborough, ON — on the Lansdowne corridor with easy access from across the city and the Kawarthas.
Is parking available?
Yes — free on-site parking lot.

How do I make a reservation?
The fastest way is online through OpenTable via our Reservations page. You can also call us at 705-874-5111 and we will look after you.
Do I need a reservation, or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are always welcome. For weekend evenings we recommend reserving ahead on OpenTable so your table is waiting.
Do you accommodate large groups or private parties?
Yes. For private events and large parties, call 705-874-5111 and we will help you plan it — including pre-set menus for groups. See also our catering & events page.
Takeout & delivery
How do I order takeout or delivery?
Order directly on imperialtandoor.com — 10% off is applied automatically, no code needed — or call 705-874-5111. No pre-order needed; just call anytime and we will start your order.
How does the 10% off work?
It is automatic. Every takeout and delivery order placed through our website gets 10% off at checkout. No code, no minimum.
Do you deliver through apps like Uber Eats?
Yes — on Uber Eats we are listed as The Imperial Dhaba (our delivery storefront). For the best price, order direct on our website and keep the 10% off.
Do I need to pre-order takeout for dinner?
No. Call 705-874-5111 whenever you are ready, or order online — we will have it ready for pickup or delivery.

What kind of food do you serve?
We are a family-run fine Indian and Indo-Chinese (Hakka) restaurant. From our traditional tandoor come flame-grilled kebabs, butter chicken and biryanis — alongside a full Hakka menu of Indo-Chinese wok dishes. See our food menu, Hakka menu and bar menu.
What are momos?
Momos are Himalayan dumplings — one of our signatures. We serve seven varieties (Classic Himalayan, Tandoori, Imperial Makhani, Afghani Malai, Peri-Peri, Firecracker Chilli and Kurkure) from $15.95, in veg, paneer or chicken.
Do you have vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options?
Yes — plenty. Our Indian and Hakka menus both carry a wide range of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes, so there is something for everyone at the table. Ask your server and we will guide you.
Can I ask for my dish mild or less spicy?
Absolutely — everything is made to order, so tell your server your heat preference and our kitchen will customize it to your liking.
What are your most popular dishes?
Guests keep coming back for our butter chicken, tandoori kebabs and biryanis — and our Hakka momos have their own following. If it is your first visit, any of these is a safe bet.

Do you cater to gluten-free and vegan clients?
Yes. When you book catering with us, just tell us about your gluten-free and vegan guests and our kitchen will design the menu around them — many of our Indian and Hakka dishes are already vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free friendly, and everything is made to order. Weekend evenings are our liveliest — we recommend reserving ahead on Friday and Saturday nights.
